Polypyrrole/Magnetic/Tea Waste Composites for PO43− Ions Removal: Adsorption-Desorption, Kinetics, and Thermodynamics Studies

نویسندگان

چکیده

The polypyrrole (PPY/TW) and magnetic (MG/TW) composite with tea waste (TW) was prepared used as an adsorbent for PO43− ions removal from aqueous media. were characterized SEM FTIR techniques. Batch study conducted to investigate the effect of different reaction parameters on adsorption ions. native TW, PPY/TW, MG/TW showed 7.2, 7.3, 7.9 (mg/g), respectively, using 0.05 g dose 10 mg/L initial concentration at pH 6, 10, 3, equilibrium reached in 90 min. Kinetics isotherm models employed data followed pseudo-second order kinetics, intraparticle diffusion, Langmuir models. Thermodynamics analysis reveals exothermic process spontaneous composites. Results revealed that composites have auspicious potential this class can be utilized effluents.

3.1. Thermodynamics and kinetics of adsorption and desorption

The chemist is aware of the synergetic effects arising from a simultaneous application of thermodynamic and kinetic concepts. To give a few examples, the (thermodynamical) Langmuir adsorption isotherm has a simple kinetic derivation, basing on the assumption of a dynamical equilibrium [La18]. We evaluate adsorbate binding energies from the temperature-dependence of desorption rates [Re62], wher...

Synthesis of MnFe2O4 nanoparticles for adsorption of digestive enzymes: Kinetics, isothermal and thermodynamics studies

The role of enzyme engineering in biotechnology, biological and pharmaceutical process cannot be over emphasized. This study compared the adsorption of amylase and protease on to manganese ferrite (MnFe2O4). The metal ferrite was synthesized via a sol – gel technique and characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Electron paramagnet...

Adsorption studies of Dichloromethane on some commercially available GACs: Effect of kinetics, thermodynamics and competitive ions.

The objective of this work was to compare the effectiveness of four commercially available granular activated carbons (GACs); coconut (CGAC), wood (WGAC), lignite (LGAC) and bituminous (BGAC) for the removal of dichloromethane (DCM) from aqueous solution by batch process. Various parameters such as thermodynamics, kinetics, pH, concentration of adsorbate, dosages of adsorbent and competitive io...

Adsorption/Desorption Kinetics of MoO4

The kinetics and mechanisms of molybdate adsorption/desorption at the g-Al2O3/water interface were studied by using the pressure-jump apparatus with conductivity detection at 298 K. A double relaxation was observed due to the adsorption/desorption process. Adsorption data and triple-layer model (TLM) simulation results suggest the formation of both monoand bidentate innersphere complexes (SMoO4...
